The West Texas Farmers and Ranchers will be held in Monahans, Texas at the Ward County Event Center on July 31st and August 1st.  This event, held by Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, will provide West Texas agriculture producers with educational and growth opportunities. With the variety of agriculture production in West Texas a committee of County Agents in District 6 came together to organize and put on this conference that will include a crop pathway and range, wildlife, and livestock pathway*.

The goal of the West Texas Farmer and Rancher Conference is to provide our producers with something new and unique that would help them be more successful and present them with new ideas!

The two-day program will include speakers across the state and allow producers to choose between a crop focused room or range, wildlife, and livestock room on Friday the 31st.  Friday will also feature general speakers in the morning and during meals.  Saturday the 1st will have a more general focus for all agriculture producers along with speaker at lunch and the day will be highlighted by Ron Gill wrapping up the conference with a livestock handling demonstration.
